Introduction to Hamburger Box

Apr 06, 2026 Leave a message

Hamburger boxes are paper containers used to hold hamburgers, primarily made of 250g white cardboard. Custom printing can enhance brand logo and promotional effects. Their production process must comply with GMP standards to ensure food safety. Product categories include stand-up pouches and other types. Historically, hamburger boxes were made of polystyrene foam, but paper has now become the standard material.

Hamburger boxes not only prioritize practicality but also hygiene and environmental protection. Many food service brands choose disposable food-safe paper boxes or reusable plastic or biodegradable materials. Besides hamburgers, these boxes are sometimes used for sandwiches, hot dogs, or smaller fast food items, facilitating takeout, packaging, and dining.

The molding process uses metal molds to dehydrate and form the container's bottom layer, while the molding stage strengthens fiber bonding. Some brands incorporate Eastern cultural elements into their packaging designs, such as designs inspired by the ancient vessel "缶" (fou). With the growth of takeout orders, the demand for hamburger boxes continues to rise. Manufacturers are achieving large-scale production using automated equipment, with daily output reaching 100,000 boxes. Some manufacturers also have the capability for mass customization.
